What is Webflow Memberships?

Webflow Memberships is Webflow's native feature for gating content and creating member-only areas on your website — without requiring third-party tools or custom code.

With Memberships, you can restrict access to specific pages, CMS content, or entire sections of your site based on whether a visitor is logged in and what membership plan they belong to.

Common Use Cases

This enables use cases like gated blog content or resource libraries for subscribers, online courses or learning portals, community platforms with exclusive member content, client portals where specific clients see only their relevant content, and SaaS product documentation behind a login.

Webflow Memberships handles user authentication natively — users sign up, receive a confirmation email, log in, and are granted access to the appropriate content based on their access group.

Access Groups

Access Groups are the core organizational unit. You can create multiple groups (Free Member, Pro Member, Enterprise, etc.) and assign different pages or content to each group. Combined with the Webflow Editor, content editors can manage member content without touching code.
